How to use Gesso and Acrylic Paint On Your Stamping Projects

 Good morning stampers and crafty friends! Are you getting ready for Halloween? Here is a Halloween card I recently made, using some Lavinia Stamps from my stash, while I was waiting for the newest collection to arrive at my mailbox. I will probably be enjoying the last bit of sunshine for the upcoming days but I will absolutely squeeze in some time to have a play with those and share them here as well! 

In the meantime, break out your stamp platform, blending brushes, any ink you have on hand along with your Gesso and acrylic paint and watch as I show you how you can make your stamped images pop over a bold inky background!

I did take some time to re-create this card and follow my own tutorial. Using the same background I chose different stamps, added a bit of shading around the edges and here is the result:
