Timeless Birthday

Hi Stampers, I came across this pre-cut center step card base in my stash and it was perfect for the color combination I wanted to try with my new Hero Arts dies. The flowers in this set reminded me of vintage prints from the 70s.

I really like giving cards that are unexpected and different and I don't think most people expect a fun card like this when they open the envelope. Here's a view of the inside:

Here are the supplies used for this card:

Cardstock:

Stampin' Up!: Real Red, Basic White, Orchid Oasis

Hero Arts: Kiwi

Ink:

Hero Arts Crimson, Butter Bar

Stampin' Up!: Orchid Oasis

Other: Fancy Flowers and Vases Stamps and Dies, Enamel Stickers, Doodles Stencil all from Hero Arts

I am really having the best experience with My Monthly Hero Premium Kits. There is so much included in each box and this is a great way to build a collection of supplies if you're new to stamping. I would highly recommend them!

Hero Arts Happy Birthday!

Hello again Stampers! I'm back today with a bright and fun birthday card made using stamps and dies from My Monthly Hero Premium Kit. If you know me as a stamper then you know that while I do have my favorite company products, I do love trying new things as well. I am so glad I took a chance on Hero Arts and their monthly kits. I am absolutely in love with the bold and bright inks, and the near perfect stamped images I get from their photo polymer stamps. You can believe this is a collection I plan on building!
I love this color collection. The yellow ink I used on my card is Butter Bar and I love how clean and bright it looks! I did combine it with other inks from my SU collection that includes Polished Pink, Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and one of my all time favorites that is sadly retired and not in the returning '23 collection - Crisp Cantaloupe.
But can I just take a moment to tell you how much I love the Hero Inks? I'll be back this week to share more from this stunning collection that came in my kit!

Hello Dear Friend

I was so excited to get a few new items for my collection these past few months. But at one point I had ordered a Hello Dear Friend card kit, and this beautiful paper but forgot to add the Art Gallery stamps and dies to my order. I couldn't wait to start designing cards with this sweet paper so I used some elements from the kit to play around with some Z fold cards while I waited for those matching stamps to arrive...and these have been sitting in my stash of cards ever since, just waiting for me to grab some images and share them with you here. Do you love flowers and beautiful blooms? You're probably going to be seeing them here for a few weeks because I haven't had a chance to even use the other supplies in my new card kit, and this might be a shocker to some but I have even more flowery goodness in my Stampin' Up! shopping cart. Well if you're here you've probably stopped by to see my cards so here they are:

Isn't this Double Z Fold fun? I added space to the back to write a personal note:

Retro Stamps and a 2 Sheet Wonder

I have been following Chelsey Christiansen's (Creative Chelsey) online class using this layouts for this set of cards. I love this vintage looking retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Petal Palette. These are cards #3 and #4. Two pieces of 12x12 coordinating scrapbook papers make 11 cards. This was a fun way to use up some retired papers that have been sitting in my stash. Next week I'll post the final two!

Retro Stamps

Today's cards used a pattern from a 2 Sheet Wonder I found on Creative Chelsey's blog. These are cards using the patterns #1 & #2. I used a retired stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Petal Pallette and the coordinating dies. The paper is also retired SU. One of these cards is a general "Thinking of You" and the other is a Sympathy card. Both of these cards will be in my shop at Just a Little Craft Store in Palmer. The Grand Opening is May 6th and I'm so excited!

After years of people telling me that I should sell my cards, I'm finally making the leap and opening small space at Just a Little Craft Store on Park Street in Palmer.

Here are one of the cards I'll be putting into my shop. I just love this sweet stamp, don't you?
